Of Folk & Fae – Guilt & Shame

Date: Wed 21.11 Time: 20:00 - 23:00

According to Sumerian folklore the first wife of the first man was Al Basty, a female spirit and the personification of guilt. Perhaps not the best match and so no surprise he went for wife number two, the innocent Eve. She in turn, after eating an apple, became the first human to feel shame. And so, since the beginning of time, guilt & shame filled our lives and our stories. High time these stories got their own night!

Tonight, bringing you tales of guilt & shame, are Anastasis Sarakatsanos, Bipin Upadhyay, Kor Hoebe, Montse Altamirano, Noah Voelker – TheaterMaker and Soula Notos. Hosted by Christina Mercken (aka Storytrooper)

“Of Folk & Fae” – the night for stories that have been passed down through generations; fairy tales, trickster tales, myths and legends told with a modern twist and with a sprinkling of music inspired by a theme – every third Wednesday of the month at Mezrab.
