Social Dance: Balfolk in Mezrab with Beat Bouet Trio

Balfolk. Best described as easy and fun Western European music and dance. You should just try it. It’s based on traditional dances, from French weddings, brought here as nice parties with live music. The easy dances are in couple or in the group, and you often change partners, everybody dances with everybody (no matter of what age, background, etc.)

We will start the evening with an introductory workshop (if needed in English) which will provide you enough knowledge to get on the floor and have fun the rest of the evening. After that we will have a band playing dance music for us. At the end of the evening there will be time for a jamsession.

The program:
19:30 doors open
20:00 dance wokshop by Beat Bouet Trio (Avant-deux from their region)
21:00 balfolk concert with Beat Bouet Trio
23:00 Jam session

Entrance:
Normal entrance fee: 10 euro.
If you bring someone who is new for Balfolk in the Mezrab, you pay only 15 euro together. So bring friends who would like to try to dance.
If you bring an instrument to play in the jamsession after 23h, you get in for free! So please breng your instruments and musician-friends!

Food:
Sahands parents make very nice Iranian soup. For only 5 euro you get a big bowl of soup with bread.
