Disco Arabesquo Night x Noss e Noss ★ 80s-90s Arabic Disco

Date: Sat 22.02 - Sun 23.02 Time: 21:30 - 02:30

On SATURDAY THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY, we will be back in Amsterdam with the third edition of ‘DISCO ARABESQUO NIGHT’ at the one and only Mezrab!

Disco Arabesquo is going to recreate a nostalgic vintage Arabic disco night that might have never happened.

This ‘Disco Arabesquo Night’ will take you back to the sounds of the 80’s & 90’s Arabic Middle-East and North Africa. You will hear the voices of Fairouz, Mohamed Mounir, Simone, Cheb Khaled, Faried el Attrache, Yung Amr Diab and many of their friends. Meanwhile, you will dance along misty visuals of characters from the golden age of Arab Cinema.

Brace yourself for legendary nostalgic classics, Moroccan Bangers, Lebanese Psychedelia, Algerian Funk, Egyptian Pop, Libyan Reggae and vintage Syrian Dabke.

We are happy to announce that this time we will team-up with Noss e Noss نص نص. Noss e Noss is a multimedia initiative birthed by the Dutch-Egyptian Amel, Farah and Nadine, in which they explore their own mixed identity and that of others through image, sound and word. What does it mean to live in the Netherlands as a child of a Dutch and an Egyptian parent? During the party the images of their first exhibition will be projected on the walls while we celebrate our multifaceted identities.

Yallah, let’s make it unforgettable!
