Joep doesn’t know what to text his crush. After working on a show about Joep who doesn’t know what to text his crush for about 2 years, he’s finally figured it out.

Joep Vermolen debuts his comedy show about awkward dates and the search for love in times of modern online dating. ‘SO THIS WAS NICE’ is a show for anyone who ever feels like they don’t understand things that everyone else seems to understand.

Love is confusing. Dating apps are bleeding users by the day, and more and more people are marrying themselves. ‘SO THIS WAS NICE’ offers a warm hug to all late bloomers, people pleasers, and imposter syndromers. Acknowledging that, in the end, we’re all just figuring it out as we go and nobody really knows what they’re doing.

Joep Vermolen is the co-creator and lead of the awkward Netflix comedy series TOON.
