The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival takes place 5–9 November at Podium Mozaïek, Amsterdam, bringing together storytellers (many of whom you might know from Mezrab!), musicians, clowns, and theatre-makers from around the world. Under the theme “The Fool”, we celebrate open beginnings, the leap into the unknown, and the power of imagination.

An ode to the fool
The Fool jumps — without a plan, without fear, eyes wide open into the unknown. This year, The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival explores the power of naïveté, the courage to begin without certainty, and the moment when the mask falls and something real is revealed.

A world of stories
For five days, Podium Mozaïek transforms into a living stage of voices, languages, and styles. Expect intimate tales, musical performances, workshops, and encounters with artists who blur the lines between theatre, poetry, and performance.
