The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival: THE SEER
The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival takes place 6–15 November at Podium Mozaïek, Amsterdam, bringing together storytellers (many of whom you might know from Mezrab!), musicians, clowns, and theatre-makers from around the world. Under the theme “The Seer”, we explore the uncomfortable, the unseen, and the unknown.
The Seer
The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival invites you to meet The Seer — not as a fortune teller, but as a listener of truth. Blind to appearances and distractions, The Seer notices what others overlook, seeing what cannot be seen with ordinary eyes. From inner worlds to the edges of life and death, from visions to imagination… unspoken truths, looming disasters, secrets behind the masks. The Seer knows. Who dares to listen?
Something for everyone
This year, The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival is bigger than ever: there are more than 30 shows, workshops and talks, spread across two weekends. Whether you are looking for something uplifting, funny, touching or deeply serious, you can find it in the program. Between shows the foyer of Podium Mozaïek offers a warm embrace: with drinks, heartwarming dishes and conversations that carry into the night. Come alone, with friends, or bring a date!
