New Harvest Night
The storytellers you know and love, who often perform on our Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, will present to you new work at our New Harvest night. They have invested in longer stories, bringing you more experimental material. Some of these stories will turn into longer shows. All of them need you, a captive audience, to listen and enjoy the fresh fruits.
This edition will feature new work by Luana, Senem and Fabio!
Luana Matei
Love in Translation – Falling in love is messy. Falling in love in Japan? Hilarious, terrifying, and unforgettable. Rings, kanji, secrets, and a Christmas proposal I didn’t even know about—come see the story that sounds too crazy to be true.
Fabio Bortolazzi
In a small Italian town, a neurodivergent boy grows up with a flair too big for tradition. Through garden tales, Roman tunics, and a dandy lion, this story is a homecoming. It’s not quite a fairytale, not quite a confession—just one person finding their way, one root at a time. With humor, softness, and the occasional ruby slipper, the story invites listeners to sit beside the storyteller, as a friend once did for him. Maybe you’ll laugh, maybe you’ll remember something.
Dr. Senem Donatan Mohan
Entangled Roots tells the true stories of flight, resilience, and legacy — two ancestors escaping the Balkans, whose struggles and hopes still echo today. Senem is an internationally renowned storyteller, story practitioner, and author from Türkiye, now based in Dublin. With a PhD in natural sciences, she weaves together science and art to spark a sense of aliveness in audiences of all ages.
