UPRISING: the new season of VERSO /, Amsterdam’s live lit & arts magazine. From chants to tweets, rallies to petitions, the sounds (and silences) of resistance will take centerstage.

We kick off on October 8th with “Fire Eating”, the trademark of the Lesbian Avengers, a guerrilla group formed in the early 90s to bring visibility to issues affecting women and lesbians that were largely ignored by the gay and feminist movements.
